I don’t know how, but about 1 year ago I got seborrheic dermatits on my right ear (I had it for a while on my head).

I saw a few dermatologists, I got a lot of treatments but nothing worked until I saw another doctor, he cleaned my ear and told me: stop putting water on that ear.

Seborrheic dermatitis in ear

So, now,  every time I take a shower I put wool on my ears to avoid the water enter there. It has been almost 1 year since them and I never got a clogged ear because of seborrheic dermatitis. That is something keeping in mind that before, I was getting it clogged after 2 – 3 weeks.

So: if you have seborrheic dermatitis on your ear, try to avoid getting water inside of it for a while.

If you have it clogged because of seborrheic dermatitis (or wax, or something else) just don’t try to clear it your self using toothpicks or other stuffs. Just go to an eNT and ask it to remove it USING the ear cleaner and NOT the classic water jet method.
